Textile Manufacturer Gains ISO Certification Using State Grant

Textile Manufacturer Workforce Training Fund Grant
United Industrial Textiles, Inc. is a manufacturer of high quality custom covers for commercial and military uses. Cunningham & Associates obtained $30,000 using an Express Grant through the Massachusetts Workforce Training Fund Program, and provided Training Staff to support United through two quality system programs and implementations.
Quality Training and Implementation of ISO Standard
Cunningham & Associates started with the training and implementing of ISO 9001:2008 standard, and then inspected their quality manual to comply with ISO 9001:2008, manual review procedures, and internal quality audits. On top of the training and implementing of the quality standards, Cunningham & Associates prepared United for and remained throughout the certification audit.
ISO 9001:2015 Compliance Update & Training
Upon release of ISO 9001:2015 standards, Cunningham & Associates returned to United to ensure compliance to the new standards. United passed both certification audits and upon completion of the Express Grant program has been able to secure new government contracts, growing the business substantially.
