Ohlson Packaging grew from a $7.5 Million business to a $12 Million business with the help of C&A. Ohlson is a unique manufacturer of a full range of automatic and semi-automatic net weighing and counting machines.
C&A obtained $100,000 using a General Grant through the Massachusetts Workforce Training Fund Program.
We learned the in and outs of the business, and worked with management to create a new sales system. Together, we designed and Implemented an Inside Sales Program, prepared and launched a marketing campaign strategy, developed sales and marketing plan in line with overall mission and values, designed and implemented financial systems and controls through QuickBooks, and enhanced inventory control systems.

Small Water System Services, LLC (SWSS) is a water quality service company that was in need of training on their newly purchased ERP system.
C&A obtained $50,000 using a General Grant through the Massachusetts Workforce Training Fund Program.
C&A analyzed SWSS's business systems and the overall workflow of the company. We were able to completely customize their newly purchased ERP platform to work exactly how SWSS needed it to work. Today they are able to invoice customers, run payroll, create custom work orders from both the office and the field, schedule and track work orders from conception to completion, and track key performance indicators through this customized ERP. C&A was able to provide SWSS with everything they needed from setup to implementation to SOP. At the completion of this project, SWSS is now self-sustainable and much more efficient.

S.I. Howard glass company has been around since 1912 and has been delivering high quality glass products and precision glass fabrication services to customers in a wide range of industries.
C&A obtained $15,000 using an Express Grant through the Massachusetts Workforce Training Fund Program.
C&A worked with S.I Howard to help them reach their tax planning and profitability goals. This was done by providing an analysis of assets, debt, tax obligations, equity and an analysis of current shareholders' basis, preparation of a FMV analysis, and designed and implemented an enhanced entity plan and balanced compensation plan. We also implemented a real estate analysis and plan, prepared initial transfer documentation and an initial setup of new entities and related services i.e. payroll, QuickBooks, etc... At the end of the Express Grant program S.I. Howard glass set itself up financially to take on any challenges due to future growth.

Restructured financial systems to prepare for growth

United Industrial Textiles, Inc. is a high quality Custom Cover Manufacturer for commercial and military uses.
C&A obtained $30,000 using an Express Grant through the Massachusetts Workforce Training Fund Program.
Our Training Staff has been with United through two quality system programs and implementations. C&A started with the training and implementing of ISO 9001:2008 standard. C&A started with inspection of their quality manual to comply with ISO 9001:2008, manual review procedures, and internal quality audits. On top of the training and implementing of the quality standards C&A prepared United for and remained throughout the certification audit. Upon release of ISO 9001:2015 standards, C&A returned to United to ensure compliance to the new standards. United passed both certification audits and upon completion of the Express Grant program has been able to secure new government contracts and have grown their business substantially.
